The Beginner Handgun Course was created with the intention of providing students with a basic understanding of how to safely handle, operate and shoot a handgun. This class was designed with new and novice shooters in mind. The class is taught in a low stress, relaxed environment. The purpose is to promote a respect for firearms, as well as install comfort and confidence for new handgun owners and users. During this course the students will receive classroom lecture covering various topics pertaining to handgun ownership. Students will also have the opportunity to preform dry firing drills under the guidance of a certified instructor, giving them the chance to practice the skills learned prior to attempting them at the end of the class under live fire conditions. The live fire drills used during this course are design to reinforce all the topics covered during the lecture.
